About Andrew Crowe
Personal Background
Andrew is a 20 year old student from Farmington Hills Michigan. He is the oldest of two children and has a great relationship with his parents. He was very involved in the music department at North Farmington High School and has played the Saxophone since the age of ten and can play three forms of the instrument. He was drawn into the Engineering field by his father and was raised on the principles of equality and respect.
Academic Background
Andrew Crowe is a third year student majoring in Engineering Management and pursuing a minor in Integrated Supply Management. He chose to come to Western because of the great reputation of WMU's Engineering program. He was also very pleased about the "almost perfect" size of the campus.
He wishes to some day use his degree in the field of technology and use his skills from his supply management minor to help a company become more successful and establish more business partnerships through the skills he has learned from his undergraduate education.
Campus Involvement
Since coming to Western, Andrew has been heavily involved on campus. He is a second year Resident Assistant in Zimmerman Hall, he is in the Young Black Males Support Network, the 2007-2008 Programs Chair of the WMU chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, and a member of the Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity.
Why Western?
Andrew loves Western because the students make Western the great place that it is today. The curriculum is great, but it's the people that really make Western an attractive university.
